Από τη Μεσαιωνική Κύπρο μέχρι σήμερα, η μουσική και ο αυτοσχεδιασμός συναντούν ποίηση εμπνευσμένη από τα δέντρα, τις ρίζες και τους κύκλους ζωής. Μιλτιάδης Παπαστάμου - βιολί, Γιάννης Μυράλης - σαξόφωνο, Σάββας Σάββα - πιάνο, Δέσποινα Κατσαντώνη - απαγγελία.

From Medieval Cyprus to contemporary sounds, music and improvisation intertwine with poetry, inspired by trees, roots, and the cycles of life. Miltiades Papastamou (violin), Yiannis Miralis (saxophone) and Savvas Savva (piano), create and guide us on a journey of sound, while Despina Katsantoni brings the poems to life on stage.

ΕΝΑ ΔΕΝΤΡΟ, ΜΙΑ ΦΟΡΑ - Παραμύθια Ιστορίες και Ποιήματα από την Παγκόσμια Λογοτεχνία | ONCE UPON A TREE - Tales, Stories & Poems from World Literature

Παιδιά διαβάζουν για μεγάλους και μεγάλοι για παιδιά. Αποσπάσματα θα ακουστούν και στις αυθεντικές τους γλώσσες. Επιμέλεια: Δέσποινα Κατσαντώνη & Γιώργα Σολομώντος, Αυτοσχεδιαστικά ηχοτοπία: Σάββας Σάββα | Children read for adults, and adults for children. Excerpts will also be heard in their original languages. Curated by: Despina Katsantoni & Georgea Solomontos Improvised soundscapes: Savvas Savva

Ο Farshad Broumand Gohar ανέλαβε τα animations για τρία έργα: το ποίημα «Πού είναι το σπίτι του φίλου;» από την Περσία, το περσικό παραμύθι «Η Σάρα και το μαγικό Δέντρο των Ευχών» και το παραμύθι «Ο κηπουρός της νύχτας» των Fan Brothers (Καναδά/ΗΠΑ). Ο Σάββας Σάββα έπαιξε πιάνο και μελοποίησε τα τραγούδια του παραμυθιού «Ο Κότσυφας απαιτεί το δάσος να σωθεί» του Βαγγέλη Ηλιόπουλου. Τα παραμύθια διάβασε η Δέσποινα Κατσαντώνη, η οποία τραγούδησε και τα τραγούδια. Στο τέλος, τα παιδιά ζωγράφισαν το δέντρο και άφησαν μηνύματα σε μικρές καρδούλες. 

Farshad Broumand Gohar created the animations for three works: the poem "Where is the Friend's House?" from Persia, the Persian fairy tale "Sara and the Magic Wishing Tree," and the story "The Night Gardener" by The Fan Brothers (Canada/USA). Savvas Savva played the piano and set to music the songs from the fairy tale "The Blackbird Demands the Forest to be Saved" by Vangelis Iliopoulos. The fairy tales were read by Despina Katsantoni, who also sang the songs from the program. At the end, the children painted the tree and left messages on small hearts.
