Το 1o CinePoems Cyprus Festival έλαβε μια τεράστια ανταπόκριση, πολύ πέρα από τις προσδοκίες μας! Για ένα μικρό φεστιβάλ με ελάχιστο προϋπολογισμό, που παρουσιάζει για πρώτη φορά βιντεοποίηση στην Κύπρο, αυτό είναι πραγματικά αξιοσημείωτο. Λόγω του πολύ μεγάλου αριθμού συμμετοχών, αναγκαστήκαμε να κλείσουμε το open call έναν μήνα νωρίτερα από το προγραμματισμένο. Από περισσότερες από 300 συμμετοχές, επιλέχθηκαν 13 εξαιρετικά βιντεοποιήματα, που ξεχωρίζουν για τη δημιουργικότητα, την κινηματογραφική ποιότητα και τη μοναδική τους φωνή. / Over 300 submissions from around the world! The 1st CinePoems Cyprus Festival received an overwhelming response, far exceeding our expectations! For a small festival with a minimal budget, presenting videopoetry for the first time in Cyprus, this is truly remarkable. Due to the huge number of entries, we had to close the open call a month earlier than planned. From over 300 submissions, 13 outstanding videopoems were selected for the festival, each showcasing creativity, cinematic quality, and unique voices.
