Το μουσικό βίντεο Tantos Desencontros (Saber Cair é uma Ciência) της A garota não συνδυάζει animation και μουσική, βασισμένη σε πρωτότυπο ποίημα της Francisca Camelo. She also studied Graphic Design at the EASD Valencia and Documentary Film at the Institute of Cinematographic Art of Avellaneda in Buenos Aires. Alongside short films, film credits and animated scenes for movies, she focuses primarily on music videos. She finds music videos particularly inspiring because, rather than following conventional narrative storytelling, they allow her to create visual poetry through associative imagery. She is also interested in animated documentaries, where animation can express the subjective aspects of a narrative.

Doughnut

Director: Stavros Makridis

Greece

Dur: 6:50

A poetic journey between life and death, light and darkness, presence and absence. The narrator reflects on the small and great wonders of existence: love, friendship, nature, music, the passing of time, and fleeting moments that shine like lightning. The film is an ode to gratitude and to an awareness of the present — a confession about what we have and what we lose, but above all, about the simple fact that we exist, even if only for a while, within the endless history of the universe.

Dur: 4:18

In a forest suspended in perpetual twilight, a solitary woman wanders along paths that endlesslylead back to the same point. Through dance and mirrored reflections of her own figure, the video poem explores isolation, duality and the labyrinth of the subconscious, where dream and reality blur. Based on a French poem written by the filmmaker himself, the work explores time as an endless cycle of return.

Tornado

Director: MEISAMGHESIZADEH

Iran

Dur: 6:00

An elderly man with a disability and injuries climbs the stairs of a tall building, trying to reach his desired destination. Yet the journey seems to have no end. Directed by Meisam Ghesi Zadeh, Tornado draws inspiration from a poem by the Persian poet Hafez, reflecting on the futility of the world and human pursuits. This jug was once a lover

Director: Hooshyar Zaheryani

Austria

Dur: 1:45

Εμπνευσμένο από ένα τετράστιχο που αποδίδεται στον Ομάρ Καγιάμ, τον Πέρση ποιητή και φιλόσοφο του 11ου αιώνα, το This Jug Was Once a Lover στοχάζεται πάνω στα λεπτά όρια ανάμεσα στην ανθρώπινη ζωή και την ύλη. / Inspired by a quatrain attributed to Omar Khayyam, the 11th-century Persian poet and philosopher. This Jug Was Once a Lover reflects on the fragile boundary between human life and matter. In a desolate landscape filled with clay vessels, traces of human presence begin to emerge. A simple jug becomes a reminder that what now appears silent and inanimate may once have been a living body — a hand that touched, a person who desired, a lover who embraced. Through an AI-generated visual world, the film revisits Khayyam's centuries-old meditation on mortality, transforming an ancient poetic image into a contemporary reflection on love, memory, and the material cycle of human existence.

Το έργο του This Jug Was Once a Lover αντλεί από την περσική ποιητική παράδοση, διερευνώντας πώς ιδέες αιώνων μπορούν να επανερμηνευθούν μέσα από σύγχρονες οπτικές τεχνολογίες. / Hooshyar Zaheryani is an Iranian media artist and videoartist based in Linz, Austria. His practice focuses on time-based media, visual storytelling, and the relationship between poetry, moving image, and emerging technologies. His recent work explores generative artificial intelligence as a creative medium for translating poetic and philosophical ideas into audiovisual experiences. Rather than treating AI as an end in itself, he uses it as part of a broader artistic process combining image-making, animation, sound, editing, and narrative construction. He is currently completing his Master's degree in Time-Based Media at the University of Arts Linz. His work This Jug Was Once a Lover draws on Persian poetic heritage to explore how centuries-old ideas can be reinterpreted through contemporary visual technologies.

Petres / Πέτρες

Director: Vassia Pappa

Greece

Dur: 7:00

The videopoem Stones, based on the poem of the same title by Eleni Benekou and Margarita Papamichou, is a poetic negotiation with trauma, memory, and the material dimension of our world, expressed through voice, body, and the stone itself as a poetic and existential anchor. Connecting individual and collective memory with matter and the essence of the spirit, the work explores the relationship between human beings, nature, and their familiar or unfamiliar surroundings.
